Wealthy Businessman Arrested for Sex Crimes Involving Russian Orphanages
“He could hand-pick orphans to first molest and then arrange for them to be child prostitutes in his child prostitution scheme.”
Federal prosecutors said 38-year-old millionaire businessman Andrew Mogilyanksy went from his home in Richboro, PA to his native Russia to recruit orphan girls into a prostitution operation.
Mogilyanksy is locked up at the Federal Detention Center in Center City Philadelphia. Authorities said it is the culmination of an international investigation that started five years ago.
Mogilyanksy, who has dual citizenship in Russia, was arrested Tuesday night in Bucks County. He is accused of hand-picking 13 and 14-year-old girls from a Russian orphanage to support an online sex business. He will face a detention hearing Friday.
According to the November 20 indictment, Mogilyansky conspired with a Russian man, Andrei Tarasov, and three others to create an online prostitution ring in Russia from 2002 to 2004, involving young orphan girls. The illicit business, named “Berenika,” advertised both women and girls for sex.

Thank you for the intelligent critique. Me and my neighbour were just setting up to do some research about this. I am very glad to see such great information being shared freely out there.
