Octo-mom’s publicists quit over death threats
Time are tough. Jobs are scarce, money is tight. That makes people stressed. And every story about Nadya Suleman is only igniting more fires as people watch a woman with six children – on public assistance – have eight more – then try to profit from it. People see irresponsible behavior – Suleman, the doctors and now those who associate with Suleman. Sad – but understandable – that people play by the rules and feel like their getting jobbed.
Two Brentwood publicists said they dropped octuplets mom Nadya Suleman as a client Saturday because they have received a slew of death threats. Suleman, a 33-year-old Whittier resident, was unmarried, unemployed and already had six children using a sperm donor when she gave birth to eight children from the same donor Jan. 26 at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Bellflower. – From LA Times
The public relations firm representing the California woman who gave birth to octuplets says it is stepping down after getting death threats. The Killeen Furtney Group has received dozens of threats, the head of the Los Angeles agency, Joann Killeen, told the Associated Press (AP) news agency. Nadya Suleman, 33, gave birth to the eight babies on 26 January. The single mother of six other children has been criticised for using fertility treatments and receiving state aid. All 14 of her children were born through in vitro fertilisation (IVF). – From BBC
The public relations group that has represented octuplets mother Nadya Suleman is stepping down because of death threats, its president said Saturday. Joann Killeen also said the mother now has an agent: Wes Yoder, the same man who arranged book and music deals for the McCaughey septuplets a decade ago and publicity for controversial pastor Rick Warren. The Killeen Furtney Group was ending its free representation after receiving at least 100 graphic e-mailed threats and swarms of nasty voicemails that went to the Los Angeles agency and even to some of its other clients, Killeen said. Some messages threatened Suleman but others were aimed at her spokespeople. – From AP

the good news is Victor Munoz is likely to profit more off of this fiasco than Nadya Suleman, as his lawyers are going to shred through that confidentiality agreement tomorrow and then we will get ALL THE DIRT! Yay!
