dragonage
While Dragon Age: Origins has been delayed until the second half of the year, we did get some fun screen shots released to whet our appetite.

Following in the steps of Apple’s successful retail outlets, Microsoft is opening it’s own gaming stores.

Dragon Quest IX is being delayed (from March to June), and that could push back Final Fantasy XIII.

Sega is putting its Aliens role-playing for franchise to rest (they never die – someone will bring it back – someday). Developer Obsidian laid off 20 people due to the cut.

The Wii Fit sold 777,000 units in January. Holy shit – that’s a record for them. Check out all the sales for games and hardware for January.

Guitar Hero continues to roll along. Now they are putting out a greatest hits compilation accommodate World Tour’s drum and mic set. This means fan-favorite selections from Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero 2 and Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock, now with the drum and mic support.

Hold your breath: Monster Hunter 3 is set for a summer release in Japan. Okay, exhale. Resume life much better than before.

Xbox 360 – 309,000
PlayStation 3 – 203,200

Mario Kart Wii (Nintendo, Wii) – 292,000
