Scarlett Johansson has topped a new poll to find out the actress with the best breasts in Hollywood. The Lost In Translation star came first in the list from TV show Access Hollywood, with Salma Hayek named in second place. Halle Berry, who once denied rumours that she was paid a $500,000 bonus to go topless in 2001 movie Swordfish, was judged to have the third-best cleavage in the business. Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt came fourth and fifth respectively.

Since dedicating myself to getting into “superhero shape,” several articles regarding my weight have been brought to my attention. Claims have been made that I’ve been on a strict workout routine regulated by co-stars, whipped into shape by trainers I’ve never met, eating sprouted grains I can’t pronounce and ultimately losing 14 pounds off my 5′3″ frame. Losing 14 pounds out of necessity in order to live a healthier life is a huge victory. I’m a petite person to begin with, so the idea of my losing this amount of weight is utter lunacy. If I were to lose 14 pounds, I’d have to part with both arms. And a foot. I’m frustrated with the irresponsibility of tabloid media who sell the public ideas about what we should look like and how we should get there. – from Huffpo

Yay. We like Scarlett.

I’ve already posted my scoop that Mickey Rourke will play the Russian villain in Iron Man 2 in a Marvel Studios deal that started out lowball and went up a lot. Now I’m told that Emily Blunt won’t be in the sequel and Black Widow will now be played by Scarlett Johannson. (Interesting because Scarlett actually screen-tested for the role and didn’t get it.) But I hear that, unlike Mickey’s money, the deal for her is “just the opposite, a terrible deal made by CAA,” one of my insiders says. “It’s as bad as any deal that I’ve heard. It’s lowball money. And it ties her to countless movies, including that ensemble The Avengers, which is what makes this brutal for a lot of actors.” As for Blunt, I’m told she fell out not by choice but only because Fox exercised an option that the studio had from The Devil Wears Prada to make her do the upcoming film starring Jack Black, Gullivers Travels. – From Nikki Finke

Scarlett Johansson is aiming to replace Emily Blunt (scheduling conflict) as Russian superspy Natasha Romanoff – the Black Widow – in Iron Man II. Eliza Dushku was making a play at the role – which we feel would have been a great move. She certainly has the physical chops to handle the role. Nothing against Scarlett, it’s just that Eliza would be nice.

And in some wild rumor fun, the Wachowski Brothers are reportedly mulling over a reboot of Superman. Yes, Superman. Bryan Singer isn’t interested in starting over, and is considering a new version of Logan’s Run. But the Wachowski Brothers doing Superman would be interesting, we must admit.

An early rumor that Lindsey Lohan would star in the Nightmare on Elm Street reboot was bull. No big deal in our book.

Kevin James, fresh off his smash hit and best film of the year, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, will star in The Zookeeper. The film centers on a lonely zookeeper who decides to leave his job because he can’t meet a girl, leading to intervention by the zoo’s animals. How cute. We’re there, so long as Paul Blart: Mall Cop II is still planned.

Peter Gabriel has pulled out of the Academy Awards show, where he was to perform his Oscar-nominated song, Down to Earth, from Wall-E. The academy has decided to limit performances to 60-65 seconds, which Gabriel did not agree with – thus the exit.
