Love Guru Is Hated On by the Razzies

Just watching the friggin’ trailer is enough to know this is a piece of shite.

The Love Guru didn’t feel any love from audiences and critics alike, but it is getting some from the Razzies. The Mike Myers summer bomb topped Razzie nominations with a leading seven mentions, including, naturally, worst picture. “This is one of those auteur-of-the-awful situations,” Razzies founder, John Wilson, said. “I think people are tired of him in general. He hasn’t really made a good movie in quite some time.” The Love Guru was a, uh, passion project of sorts for Myers, who not only starred in it, but co-wrote and produced it too. The film scored worst acting nods for Myers, Jessica Alba, Verne Troyer and Ben Kingsley. Too bad Justin Timberlake missed the cut. – From TV Guide
