Crazy Fan Rushes Stage During Connecticut Britney Spears Concert

To say that Brit Brit’s concert at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut was a hawt mess is an understatement!

Not only did Spears fall while dancing during Get Naked, but one overzealous and disrespectful fan also rushed the stage during the encore!

“This guy ran across the stage and towards Britney during Womanizer,” one of many Perezcious readers in attendance tells us. “He attempted to dance with Britney!”

Miss California USA Awesome! Perez Hilton Sucks!?

Miss USA and Miss California differ when it comes to gay marriage.

On Wednesday’s Today show, Al Roker asked Kristen Dalton, of North Carolina, how she would have answered the controversial question posed to runner-up Carrie Prejean.

“The beautiful thing about America is that we have the right to choose, we have the right to choose what partner we want to love, commit and spend the rest of our lives with,” she replied. “I think all couples should be able to be recognized legally, and they should be able to enter into a union. Whether or not that should be defined as marriage … I’ll leave that up to the politicians.”

Miss California Carrie Prejean is under attack for her anti-gay marriage statement at the Miss USA pageant and she’s just found one feisty ally – her 89-year-old grandmother!

Jeanette Coppola, speaking exclusively to RadarOnline.com at her mobile home near San Diego, came out swinging against Carrie’s critics and in a statement that shows she’s clearly not from an era of tolerance, she said:”I never knew there were so many gays out there!”

Miss California says she stands by her anti-gay-marriage comments, even if they may have cost her the Miss USA crown.

Carrie Prejean defended her views Tuesday on NBC’s “Today” show, telling host Matt Lauer that she spoke from the heart during Sunday’s pageant when she said that “marriage should be between a man and a woman.”

The beauty queen’s response to a question from openly gay pageant judge and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has received more attention than the winner, Miss North Carolina Kristen Dalton. During the pageant, Hilton asked Prejean if every state should follow Vermont in legalizing same sex marriage.

“I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other,” Prejean responded. “But in my country, and in my family, I think that I believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised.”

First, Perez Hilton called her a “dumb [expletive]” in a self-produced video on his Web site.

Then Tinsletown took to Twitter, as the likes of Shanna Moakler, Giuliana Rancic, Holly Madison and Heidi Montag Tweeted their outrage.

Moakler, who is co-chair of the Miss California pageant, Twittered “I agree with Perez 100 [percent].”

E! News anchor Giuliana Rancic Twittered on Tuesday that “I know i’m a journalist, and i should be objective … but she is an ignorant disgrace and she makes me sick to my stomach.”

Mr. Hilton’s outcry and subsequent interview on Larry King Live sparked a number of celebrity Twitter responses on the topic, most notably from Britney Spears, who tweeted: “Love is love! People should be able to do whatever makes them happy!” (”Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant,” Perez responded on his blog.)

Heidi Montag, a star of the MTV reality show “The Hills,” wrote in a string of multiple messages, “God says in the bible that we should love our neighbor and he created us all as equals. I know in my heart that gays and lesbians should have the same government rights that Spencer and I will when we get married. So, yes, this blonde Christian believes in gay marriage and I hope to one day go to YOUR wedding, Perez!!!”

But as for the non-blond, non-celebrity Twitterers, responses were varied — user fungirlkelly wrote: “I am very proud of Miss California for sticking to her values…this is still USA, land of the free…right?” But brittanygreene tweeted: “@perezhilton did a great job on Larry King. Just because you say “no offense” doesn’t mean it’s not offensive, Miss California.” – from WSJ

In an exclusive interview with FOXNews.com’s Courtney Friel, Miss California says her phone has been ringing off the hook with people offering her support after she took on a question about gay marriage on Sunday night’s Miss USA telecast. “I have no regrets about answering [judge Perez Hilton] honestly,” she said in one of her first interviews following the show, where she answered that she was against gay marriage becoming legal in California. “He asked me for my opinion and I gave it to him. I have nothing against gay people and I didn’t mean to offend anyone in my answer.” – from Foxnews

Miss California Carrie Prejean vs Perez Hilton on Gay Marriage

Unlike the pageant two years ago, the contestant in the crossfire didn’t give a nonsensical (and wildly entertaining) answer. The contestant last night, California’s Carrie Prejean, was too articulate in the minds of many and led to some flaring tempers (similar to Janeane Garofalo’s flare-up on Keith Olbermann’s show the other night).

The question posed to the contestant couldn’t be any more incendiary: gay marriage.

Asked judge Perez Hilton to Prejean, “Vermont recently became the 4th state to legalize same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit. Why or why not?”

Observers quickly learned that in Hilton’s mind there was only one correct answer. And Prejean picked the wrong one.

“Well I think its great that Americans are able to choose one or the other,” she said. “We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be between a man and a woman. Thank you very much.”

Prejean was greeted with a mixed reaction from the audience. Boos followed by applause. And the reactions didn’t stop at the pageant. It went into overtime.

What do U think about the whole situation??? P.S. Sorry we called her a dumb bitch. – from Perez

Here’s your follow-up to the vulgar gossip blogger Perez Hilton’s attack on Miss California USA Carrie Prejean. On MSNBC (natural habitat of slimers), Hilton says he takes back his apology for calling Prejean a “dumb b*tch” and then pours on even more slime by laughing that while he called her that epithet he was really thinking of the “c-word.”
MSNBC host Norah O’Donnell says nothing to distance herself from the misogynist attack:

“I feel like I won. I feel like I’m the winner. I really do,” noting that on Monday, she had 1,000 messages on Facebook and 2,000 friend requests. She adds that her answer “did cost me my crown. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I said what I feel. I stated an opinion that was true to myself and that’s all I can do. It is a very touchy subject and he [Perez] is a homosexual and I see where he was coming from and I see the audience would’ve wanted me to be more politically correct. But I was raised in a way that you can never compromise your beliefs and your opinions for anything.” – from Access Hollywood
