Hollywood Buzz: Terminator, Avatar, Transformers 2 photos, Coraline Interview

We got lots of fun new photos from some of Hollywood’s biggest films:
terminator
Terminator Salvation offers four new images to us. Nothing totally earthshaking, but fun to see nonetheless. There’s also a Terminator image from the new GamePro magazine cover. Wired has some hot art work and images too. Also check out Christian Bale going totally whack job on the director of photography.

There’s an image from James Cameron’s super double secret film, Avatar. It’s nothing special – just a blurry image of a graphic.

Tons of great new hi-res Transformers 2 photos – but no Megan Fox cleavage shots. Oh well, lots of good stuff.

Nice interview with Coraline director Henry Selick. Move looks great. We have Neil Gaiman’s book on the list to read to the kid.

A new Watchman IMAX poster popped up today. Very fun looking. Nice to have the legal crap out of the way.

By the way, Watchman director Zach Snyder promised there would be no Watchman sequel in an interview.

Hollywood Buzz: Simpsons whine, Gaiman wins, Tomb Raider back, Jacko sued

Poor girls. Ashlee Simpson is knocking those who are pointing out that her sister, Jessica, has put on some recent poundage.

Joaquin Phoenix’s rap career was a big hoax. We figured, but you never know sometimes.

Neil Gaiman’s fantasy novel ‘The Graveyard Book’ won the Newbery Medal for young readers, plus Gaiman announced the screenwriter/director Neil Jordan will be involved in bringing the award-winning book to the screen.

A new Tomb Raider movie is reportedly headed for the big screen – sans Angelina Jolie. The first two were shite – let’s hope they actually write a story for this one.

Michael Jackson is being sued by Director John Landis regarding profits not delivered for classic 14-minute video and the clip’s “making of” documentary since at least 2005. Jackson just announced ‘Thriller’ would be headed to broadway.

The Green Hornet is reportedly still a go, despite recent rumors of its demise. In fact, word is out that Adam Sandler will take a ‘brief, but key role’ in the upcoming film.

From Henry Selick, visionary director of THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, and based on Neil Gaiman’s international best-selling book, comes a spectacular stop-motion animated adventure – the first to be originally filmed in 3D! On the surface, this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life and the people in it – only much better. But when this seemingly perfect world turns dangerous, and her other parents (including her Other Mother voiced by Teri Hatcher) try to trap her forever, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination and bravery to escape this increasingly perilous world – and save her family.
