A judge has rejected Madonna’s request to adopt a second child from Malawi because of a requirement that prospective parents live in the southern African nation for at least 18 months, another judge and a lawyer said Friday.

Madonna wipes out on stage
Poor Madge. Still must be in stock over her $27 mil payday to Guy Richtie. After falling on her rump, Madonna quickly tries to incorporate the tumble into her routine, which must not have hurt too bad because she was back on cue kissing a woman seconds later.
Madonna’s ex set to get $75 million in settlement
Madonna has settled her divorce with ex-husband Guy Ritchie by also parting with at least 50 million pounds ($76 million), the singer’s spokeswoman said Monday.
Liz Rosenberg told The Associated Press the settlement was in the range of 50 million to 60 million pounds ($76 million to $92 million) as part of their divorce agreement, a figure she said included the value of the couple’s country home, Ashcombe House in western England, which Ritchie will keep.
Rosenberg said the couple’s west London pub — the Punchbowl — would also remain with Ritchie.
A representative for the British filmmaker declined comment. – from Yahoo

Coincidence?
Madonna and Alex Rodriguez were both spotted in Mexico City last weekend.
The two have not confirmed their romance. But they reportedly had their public “coming out” Nov. 26, when, according to E!, the Yankees third baseman handed Madonna a water bottle during her Miami concert.
They also apparently met up on Thanksgiving, after Rodriguez fulfilled his family obligations.
When asked what he thought about being in the capital city the same time as his rumored paramour, the baseball star would only say it was “very good,” the Associated Press reports.

Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez celebrated Thanksgiving with his family in Miami before heading off to spend time with Madonna just days after her preliminary divorce from Guy Ritchie was granted, according to reports. – From People.com
