Bruce Smith, Rod Woodson lead NFL Hall of Fame Class

This is one of the best classes ever assembled. Kudos to everyone, from the players to the electors.

Bob Hayes, Randall McDaniel, Bruce Smith, Derrick Thomas, Ralph Wilson Jr. and Rod Woodson were selected for enshrinement to the Hall of Fame on Saturday. Joining Smith, who led Buffalo to four straight Super Bowl appearances, and Woodson are longtime Bills owner Ralph Wilson; the late Chiefs linebacker Derrick Thomas; former Minnesota guard Randall McDaniel; and the late Bob Hayes, a standout wide receiver for Dallas and the 1964 Olympic 100 meters gold medalist. – from AP
