NFL Buzz: Cowher rebuff Jets again, Pennington’s Comeback, Detroit interested in MN coach

Chad Pennington won the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award – for the second time. After getting cut by the Jets, Pennington has lead the Dolphins to the playoffs by playing smart, efficient football.

Bill Cohwer has reiterated to the Jets that he is not interested in coaching in NY. The NY Post reported that one reason Cowher rebuffed the Jets is that he doesn’t want to have Brett Favre as his QB.

The Detroit Lions are interested in Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier for their vacant coaching job.
