Obama 1961 birth announcement from Honolulu Advertiser
This Honolulu Advertiser announcement of Barack Obama’s Aug 4, 1961 birth was published August 13, 1961 on page B-6. It is available only on microfilm in Hawaii libraries. It has never been posted online in spite of the extensive controversy over Obama’s birth certificate. The announcement is 4th from the bottom of the left hand column. Click to enlarge.

“It has never been posted online in spite of the extensive controversy over Obama’s birth certificate”
Horseshit. I’ve seen this thing online months ago.

I have to agree with John. Snopes had this up ages ago:

Took me two seconds to find that with Google. Do your research.

It doesn’t say where he was born, just that he was born.
The issues is “where he was born”.

The issue before being brought up to the supreme court is his dual citizenship (not where he was born – that has been cleared up over and over and over again, he was born in Hawaii and has a legal birth certificate on file in Hawaii) – he has from his mother U.S. citizenship and the other (British citizenship) he got from his father, but the Britisch citizenship expired when he was 18 (or 21) – there is no question that he was born in Hawaii in the U.S.
(FYI – McCain was not born in the U.S. – he was born in Panama)

Interesting how extremists such as LadyRose would like to prevent children born to US servicemembers (John McCain) while serving overseas from enjoying the rights of citizenship, while at the same time promoting the rights of those who would give nothing and take everything (see Mexico). Must be amusing living with half a brain.

Is THIS the “proof” that obama is offering the American people?
If it weren’t so INSULTING, this would be “laughable”.
Should no action be taken by any American court, as of about 2:30 pm on January 20, 2009, the “57 states” will have a poseur-in-chief, and the American government will be leaderless…….all those who wish America no good will be rejoicing in their hidey holes……

Why should I believe an image of the Honolulu Advertiser copied from microfilm on a computer screen. I want to see the original microfilm or the original newspaper, if it still exists. I have reason to be suspicious. Even the jets crashing into the Twin Towers were computer generated, and anyone sees it in slow motion knows it. The videos were removed from youtube, but the killtown website has not been purged yet. Download http://www.propeller.com/member/markoller/

“It doesn’t say where he was born, just that he was born. The issues is “where he was born”.”
Right, because local newspapers print births from other countries all the time. I guess the Obama’s had Barack in another country, then hustled back to the home in Hawaii listed in the announcement. That seems reasonable.

LOL. Its got to make the Obama-not-born-in-the-U.S. yahoo’s feel good to know that they’ve got a Those-weren’t-real-jets-crashing-into-the-Twin-Towers nut case in their camp.

Is it just me ? Why are there two lines through the newspaper article and that block, section between the two lines look uneven…..and contain this “proof of Obama’s birth.?”

Right, because you normally get original birth records and newspaper announcements of US Presidents mailed to your home? I’m pretty sure congress doesn’t care if you believe it or not.

@ Mark S. Oller….
My mother witnessed the second plane crashing into the towers from outside of her home a block away. Do you think she was just fooled by CGI technology?

To “steve” above:
There’s also something called a “BIRTH CERTIFICATE” from Hawaii; look it up!

Can’t believe that so many people are so gullible and ignorant!
Ignorance breeds hatred.
If you don’t like the guy, fine; don’t vote for him next term, but don’t be so idiotic and if you have doubts; LEARN THE FACTS!
RESPECT OUR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!

Does anyone have proof that Mr and Mrs Barrack Obama actually lived at that address when this announcement appeared in the newspaper?
September 25th, 2009 at 11:06 pm
Killtown hangs around with “ozzybinoswald” whose real name is Neil Edward Thomson, a kiddie porno collector who resides in Canada. You would be wise to take Killtown’s crap off your site unless you like associating yourself with pedophiles and internet stalkers.

I’d like to see a copy of the actual newspaper. I’m stlll not convinced and I’m a registered Democrat.

There are numerous “postings” that the announcement
has been declared a forgery.
Font size, lines do not match, etc.
Also a bogus address…
There are Federal Statutes that apply for
“posting” or advertising False and Fraudulent
articles and statements.
There are “no” statement’s or affidavit’s by
either Newspaper’s to confirm this.
There was a reward offered for a “original” copy
which no one has applied for.
Hawaii Statute calls for the DOH to send an
announcement upon a “new” adoption whereas a
“old” birth certificate is replaced by a
“new” birth certificate after an adoption, etc..
The “old” or “original” birth certificate is
then sealed and can only be opened by a Court Order,
which is what some of the lawsuits are seeking.

Why is there a —-dashed line above Obamas name.
Looks like it was added in to me.
