First Look at Tim Burton’s 9 – Official HD Teaser Trailer!
A new era in animated storytelling begins on 9.9.09. Visionary filmmakers Tim Burton (The Corpse Bride, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory) and Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Nightwatch) join forces to produce wunderkind director Shane Acker’s distinctively original and thrilling tale. 9 stars Elijah Wood, John C. Reilly, Jennifer Connelly, Martin Landau, Christopher Plummer and Crispin Glover and features the music of Danny Elfman. When 9 (The Lord of the Ring’s Elijah Wood) first comes to life, he finds himself in a post-apocalyptic world. All humans are gone, and it is only by chance that he discovers a small community of others like him taking refuge from fearsome machines that roam the earth intent on their extinction. Despite being the neophyte of the group, 9 convinces the others that hiding will do them no good. They must take the offensive if they are to survive, and they must discover why the machines want to destroy them in the first place. As they’ll soon come to learn, the very future of civilization may depend on them.

I am so excited! It looks like it may just be Tim Burton’s best animated film to date! This is the type of movies our kids should be watching, not all of that Disney stuff with Princesses and people getting rescued, they should be taught that you have to stand up for what is right. I love Tim Burton! Can’t wait!

Its not actually tim burtons movie, its Shane Acker’s idea and directing. Burtons just producing so give credit to Acker, hes the man behind the movie. Go to youtube and watch the ten minute short that Acker made that got him the deal for a full length film.

People seriously need to learn the difference between producing and directing… It doesn’t really matter who is producing… My dog could produce it and it would be the same movie. Acker is who matters. Tim Burton is just putting the money forward. And yeah. This is brilliant. Gonna have to get the gang together for this baby.

ACTUALLY it’s from their third CD (Sixth if you count the stuff from when they were called Shabutie) entitled Good Apollo I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness. Third track. :P I love this band BTW so i know everything about em!! XD
Also I already called up my friends who live four hours away and said that i’d pay for their ticket and bus fair they just better be here for the movie.

my friend loves tim burton movies and loves ta num 9 and its on her b day!!!! i though its cool too can’t wait!!!
