TV Buzz: U2 books Letterman for a week; Housewives, Idol news; Starter Wife axed
Fire up the DVRs. U2 will be sitting in with David Letterman for an entire week from March 2-6. Their new album is due March 3. Great coup for Letterman, great marketing by U2.
Nicolette Sheridan will leave Desperate Housewives for good this time. SPOILER INVOLVED.
USA Network is canceling The Starter Wife. The Debra Messing vehicle simply didn’t garner the ratings to survive. You’ll have to content with the 10 episodes in the can.
One of the American Idol contestants was booted from the show. Joanna Pacitti, a 23-year-old Philadelphia native, was shown the door. Reasons weren’t given, but word is she had a ‘relationship’ with a couple of execs at 19 Entertainment, a company founded by judge Simon Fuller.
