Not as many Watched (or Liked) the Watchmen than Expected
Warner Bros’ superhero doomsday thriller with no stars and lots of violence opened to a $25.1 million Friday and $18.7M Saturday for a blockbuster $55M weekend with Sunday’s estimate. But that’s lower than the $60sM which the studio was hoping for Watchmen. Exit polling showed that 65% of the audience was male, and of those 35% over the age of 25.
