Miss California Carrie Prejean vs Perez Hilton on Gay Marriage
Unlike the pageant two years ago, the contestant in the crossfire didn’t give a nonsensical (and wildly entertaining) answer. The contestant last night, California’s Carrie Prejean, was too articulate in the minds of many and led to some flaring tempers (similar to Janeane Garofalo’s flare-up on Keith Olbermann’s show the other night).
The question posed to the contestant couldn’t be any more incendiary: gay marriage.
Asked judge Perez Hilton to Prejean, “Vermont recently became the 4th state to legalize same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit. Why or why not?”
Observers quickly learned that in Hilton’s mind there was only one correct answer. And Prejean picked the wrong one.
“Well I think its great that Americans are able to choose one or the other,” she said. “We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be between a man and a woman. Thank you very much.”
Prejean was greeted with a mixed reaction from the audience. Boos followed by applause. And the reactions didn’t stop at the pageant. It went into overtime.

What do U think about the whole situation??? P.S. Sorry we called her a dumb bitch. – from Perez
Here’s your follow-up to the vulgar gossip blogger Perez Hilton’s attack on Miss California USA Carrie Prejean. On MSNBC (natural habitat of slimers), Hilton says he takes back his apology for calling Prejean a “dumb b*tch” and then pours on even more slime by laughing that while he called her that epithet he was really thinking of the “c-word.”
MSNBC host Norah O’Donnell says nothing to distance herself from the misogynist attack:

“I feel like I won. I feel like I’m the winner. I really do,” noting that on Monday, she had 1,000 messages on Facebook and 2,000 friend requests. She adds that her answer “did cost me my crown. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I said what I feel. I stated an opinion that was true to myself and that’s all I can do. It is a very touchy subject and he [Perez] is a homosexual and I see where he was coming from and I see the audience would’ve wanted me to be more politically correct. But I was raised in a way that you can never compromise your beliefs and your opinions for anything.” – from Access Hollywood

Wow how mature, Perez. What about free right of speech? You’re the creep, thinking of using the C word, only degenerates use that and people who hate women. Get over yourself!
Carrie has every right to say what she thinks.

Perez you should really be ashamed of yourself, you consider Miss California Carrie Prejean comments on gay marriage as discriminating to the homosexual community, when you call her a DUMB BITCH. That is discriminating against women and I take great offense to that. How dare you blast a women for an honest political statement. Where are the women rights organizations coming out against you?? She is a nice, educated young lady who is working to give back to this state. I host a blogtalkradio show and would love to invite you on to debate this with me. I’ve attached my link and hope you take my offer.

When a gay would like you to beleive that gay marriage is as normal as pluging a male plug into another male plug.
Even if there is an earth hole, it’s clearly not for that.
Does that explain enough?
Why isn’t it a civil right for a man to marry two wifes?

Carrie Prejean is a true Christian. She answered a very controversial question from her heart. People criticize her saying she should have given a neutral answer but that is just another way of hiding the truth. She chose to answer truthfully knowing full well it would cost her the crown. That is extremely rare especially in today’s society and speaks volumes about what it really truly means to be a Christian. Carrie Prejean is the real winner in this scenario.

Don’t ask the question if you are afraid of the answer. Agree or not she has a right to her opinion, she voiced it only after you asked. Get off her back. I could care less about the pagent but this lady has a new fan in me. Mr Perez: i don’t care for you and question the pagent’s judgement in hiring you.

For each person who uses the 1st testiment to discriminate against marriage by the state for gay people, I ask you this;
If you are going to use the Bible verses from the 1st Testiment to discriminate against gay marriage then would you also enforce these laws;
1. Women who commit adultery to be stoned to death
2. Legalize Palimony for Men only.
3. Sacrifice of animals? Num. 15:38
4. Does God claim ownership of first born animals and males? Ex. 13:1-2.
Jesus does not talk about Gay people. So if God is perfect, if God created each of us, if God is our Father then how did God make a mistake by making some of us gay? He didn’t! God is perfect – not all of you who judge his creatures! Work on yourself – love and let live.

Don’t even bring religious beliefs on this one.
If you even had a bit of respect for God’s standard on this matter you would also consider those:
1 Corinthians 6:9
1 Timothy 1:10
Romans 1:26-27
Jude 7
Who are you trying to fool? Yourself?

Perez is a jerk for asking such a controversail question in the first place Sounds like another case of the gay agenda trying to force everyone to they’re thinking, what’s next burn her at the stakes for her opinion.
Hilton expects others to respect his views, althrough he not only has no respect for others views, He resorts to hate and condemnation of those who dare to voice their own beliefs. What a inmature hateful hypocrite.

What are the requirements to become a Miss USA beauty pageant judge? From Perez Hilton’s behavior, it’s looks like all you need is a first grade education.
April 26th, 2009 at 8:51 am
Are all gays like Hilton? No wonder I’m against gay marriage.
April 30th, 2009 at 12:29 pm
Perez… don’t use your soapbox to push your views on the rest of the world. Everyone has a right to their own beliefs. You crossed the line in expecting everyone to bow to your beliefs. Shame on you. The purpose of the pageant is not to brown-nose the judges to go along with what they want to hear or see but what makes that woman special. Kudos to Carrie for standing up for herself!

I’m very proud of Carrie Prejean for her honest opinion. If she lied and win like the current US President, then I’ll be disappointed. Carrie Prejean is a winner. She got 80% of the states on her side (46 out of 50 states). Here’s a beauty queen pageant question for Perez Hilton: Why haven’t you move to 1 of those 4 gay marriage state already?
Question for Carrie Prejean: What can you do to get Perez Hilton out of California and into 1 of the 4 gay marriage states?
One thing for sure, Carrie Prejean still going to be around and Perez Hilton won’t.
